Obituary of Doris Brown

Doris Brown of Calgary passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the age of 97 years. Doris was born in England. She and her mother joined her father in Canada after the First World War. She received most of her schooling in Calgary. After receiving her teaching certificate Doris taught in several small town schools. She moved to the Calgary school system – teaching in several schools. She finished her career as Principal of Rosemont School, where she is still remembered by both students and their parents. Doris is survived by one sister Eileen. At Doris’ request there will be no service. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
