Obituary of Ferdinand Darryl Wildman

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ferdinand “Darryl” (Bam) Wildman. He was called home by our Creator on October 22, 2008 at the age of 38 years old. Darryl was born and raised on the Stoney Nakoda Nation Reserve. He received his education at Springbank and Morley School. Darryl loved the outdoors, playing sports (playing for a baseball team called the Nakoda Rebels), hunting, participating in rodeos and his cultural beliefs. Darryl is survived by his loving wife Ursula; children whom he loved and cherished, Karine, Nevin, Taton, Sammy, Braeden and Tarryl; parents, Harry and Karen Wildman; siblings, Priscilla (Mark) Holloway, Hirren (Rhonda), Harry Jr. (Albertine), Janisha (Alex), and Levon Wildman; adopted families, Dandy Amos and family, Josephine Littlechild and family, Vanessa Poucette and family, Kolet (George) Bigstoney; adopted mother Patsy Rider and Family; grandparents, Bert and Earl Wildman, Lucy Poucette and Mrs. Marjorie Twoyoungmen; Godmother, Marianne Fox and family, as well as many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and Cousins. He is also survived by extended families, Poucette, Fox, Wildman, Beaver, House, Begay, Mark, Salter, Labelle, Twoyoungmen, relatives from Hobbema, Swampy, Simon, Saddleback, Nepoose, Crane, Potts; extended family in Eden Valley, Wildman, Lefthand and Daniels. He was predeceased by his daughter, Taryl T. Wildman (1991), son, Tyrese D. Snow Wildman (2008), grandparents, Percy Wildman (1989), Violet Wildman (1985), Joe Fox Sr.(1979), great-grandparents, Mary Poucette (1999), Flora Poucette (1999), Jensen Francis (2003) and cousins, Shane Wildman (2004), Tyrone Poucette (1994). We apologize if we have missed anyone. Wake Services will be held at the residence Karen and Harry Wildman (Morley, AB) on Saturday, October 25, 2008 and Sunday, October 26, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
