Obituary of Donald Neil McKinnon
Donald “Neil” McKinnon beloved husband of Audrey of Calgary passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the age of 69 years. Neil was born in Antler, SK on July 12, 1939. Neil married Audrey in 1961 in Drumheller, AB. He worked for over 30 years with Nova and Trans Canada as a pipeline foreman. Over the years, Neil worked throughout Alberta and overseas. In 1993 Neil retired from Trans Canada, to begin his own company Nu Start Consulting. Neil’s greatest passion was to work, he loved to golf and go camping. Neil enjoyed playing cards and games, always hoping to be the best. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Neil especially enjoyed family get togethers and was very proud of all his children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments. He will be dearly missed by all those who’s lives he touched. Besides his loving wife, Audrey, Neil is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Kathy, Rick, Darren and Cindy; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Mitchell, Sarah, Brad and Max; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Myrna as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Neil was predeceased by his sister Wilda and his parents.
