Obituary of Viola Vellamo Hall
Viola Vellamo Hall (nee Maki) formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, ON passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2008 in her 90th year. Viola was born in Sault Ste. Marie, ON on October 25, 1918. Viola, and her husband Jeff, lived in Sault Ste. Marie, North Bay and Sudbury ON while raising their three children. She was employed as a bookkeeper with the International Woodworkers Union and the Carpenters and Joiners Union until her retirement. Viola will be sadly missed by her daughter Tabby (Janice) Daum; her son Ken (Clora); grandchildren, Jacob, Selina, Hilary and Casey Daum. She was predeceased by her husband Jeff in 1979; her daughter Carol Lemond in 1978; and an infant son; brothers John Maki (Eva) and Elmer Maki; sisters Aileen Lintula (Bill), Ina Curry (Homer), and Irene Johnston (Tod). Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow with a Family Service in Sault Ste. Marie, ON at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
