Obituary of Shirley Margaret Ida Irvin
Shirley Margaret Ida Irvin (nee Lucas), cherished mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the age of 86 years.
The oldest of three children, Shirley was born to a pioneer family and grew up on a farm near Wetaskiwin. She acquired her nursing certificate at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton and met her husband Lou when nursing in Galveston. They raised their two children in Calgary, AB.
Shirley leaves behind her son Randall Thomas and his wife Paula Marie; grandchildren, Donica, Sean and Christopher. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Louis and her son Thomas.
