Obituary of Roy Day

Roy Day beloved husband of Anne Day of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Roy was born in Calgary and grew up in Lloydminster. He attended the U of Sask. and UBC and worked in the lumber industry for many years on Vancouver Island. During this time he met and married Anne Evans. From 1957 until his retirement Roy worked in the automotive industry in Calgary and Toronto. Over the years Roy has been a member of Earl Grey Golf Club, Toronto Board of Trade Golf Club, Willow Park Golf Club and the Gyro Club of Calgary. Besides his loving wife Anne; Roy is survived by his children, John Day (Harlene), Marijean Day and James Day (Kathy); two grandchildren Rory Crowley and Neaqeah Lechinsky-Day. He was predeceased by his grandson Farin Crowley.
