Obituary of Hazel Vera Emmerson

Hazel beloved wife of Eric of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Family was very important to Hazel. She always made sure she attended all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s functions. Hazel enjoyed dinners with her family, and always felt family time was very important. Hazel was always a loving, caring and a very compassionate person. Hazel, is survived by Eric, her husband of sixty-four years; son Ken (Marion) of Port Coquitlam, BC; daughter Dianne (George) Fildey; grandchildren, Brent(Tracey), Brenda (Gary), Robert, Michael, Dwayne; and her great-grandchildren, Brandee, Ashley, Trent, Devin, Samantha, Crystal, Philip, Jordan, and Matthew all of Calgary, AB; two brothers, Norman and Roy; and sister Dorothy all of Lethbridge, AB; as well as her many nieces and nephews. Hazel was predeceased by her two brothers, Lloyd and Clarence. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 1:00p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
