Obituary of Werner Huebner

Werner Huebner passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the age of 44 years. He was surrounded by his loving family and will forever live in their hearts. Werner was born in Winnipeg and he grew up in Calgary. Werner graduated from Crescent Heights High School and from there went on to work for the family business. Werner had just returned from a sunny vacation where he was able to pursue his lifelong passions; fishing, snorkelling, cave diving, zip lining and relaxing in the sun with his friends. He was always there to help whenever anyone needed him. His strength and generosity will be forever remembered and cherished by all those he touched. Werner is survived by his parents; Herbert and Renate, his sister; Ingrid and her husband Darrell Stokes, his brother; Herbert Jr and his sisters; Monica, Elke and her husband David Claughton. Uncle Werner will be sadly missed by his nephews and nieces; Scott, Sarah, Jordan and Josie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Winnipeg, Milwaukee and Germany. A celebration of life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, October 17 at 10:30 AM.
