Obituary of Donalda Isabel Busch

Donalda (Del) Isabel passed away on October 6, 2008 at the age of 90 years at the Venta Care Center in Edmonton. Del was born in Acme, Alberta. Once she completed Normal School, Del and Herb married and moved to Canmore where she earned the reputation of being an outstanding Grade six teacher. This is where Del and Herb raised their 3 children until they moved to Calgary in 1970. Del had many hobbies which included sewing, cooking, gardening, travelling and golf, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Del moved to Edmonton in 2003, following Herb’s death. Del will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her son, Ron (Vi) of Murrieta, California; her two daughters, Brenda (Garry) of Vancouver, B.C and Terry (Gary) of Edmonton, AB; along with many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Herb after 57 years of marriage; sisters, Anna Graham and Margaret Neal. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
