Obituary of Elmer Theodore Goetz

Elmer Goetz beloved husband of Clare Goetz of Calgary, passed away on September 25, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Elmer was born on March 22, 1928 in Ponoka, AB, and married Clare Baur in 1961. Elmer worked with Canadian Superior Oil for many years as an accountant. He was very active within his community, and was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus Council 1186 and St Luke’s Catholic Church. Elmer is survived by his loving wife, Clare of 47 years. Brothers and Sisters, Norman and Alvin(Janet), Doris Goetz, Anita Myler, Ruth (Vince) Morrison, Mary (Leo) Bunz and Rita (John) Faubert. Sisters and Brothers in-law, Mary Hoffman, Tony Baur, Herman (Frieda) Baur as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter, Karen in September 1993. Parents, Zeno and Loretta Goetz and four brothers, Norbert, Ralph, Leonard and Clarence.
