Obituary of Dorothy Louisa Brown

Dorothy Brown of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Dot was born on October 4, 1917 in Empress, AB. In her early twenties, Dot came to Calgary where she enjoyed a long career with Parrish and Heimbecker as secretary and office administrator. Dot loved to travel and to work in her garden. She was an active volunteer in her community and was a faithful member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church. Dot is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
