Obituary of Roy Kennedy Mottishaw
Roy Kennedy Mottishaw of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the age of 85 years.
Roy was born in Calgary, attended the University of British Columbia and served as a pilot in the RCAF. Upon his return to Calgary, to run the family restaurant business, he met and married Peggy Timmins. Roy was an accomplished golfer and a charter member of the Earl Grey Golf Club. He was a successful Calgary restaurateur for over fifty years, winning numerous excellence awards.
Roy is survived by his four daughters; Lynn (Chuck), Diane (Bram), Barbara, Karen; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and his former wife Dianne Dowling. Roy was predeceased by his first wife, Peggy; his parents Reuben and Eliza and siblings Douglas, Grace, Ruby and Hilda.
