Obituary of Irene Shirley Hnatchuk

Irene Hnatchuk of Calgary passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre after a year long struggle with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 71 years. Irene was born June 13, 1937 in Lloydminster, SK. Irene enjoyed a long career with the Calgary Board of Education as an administrative assistant. Irene is survived by her loving son, Blair (Dawn) Bechthold (Werner), and their children, Justin and Jessica; her loving daughter, Valerie (John) Tiller and their children Mitchell and Brandon; as well as her nieces, Wendy Jensen and Brenda(Ken) Horricks of Kelowna,BC. She was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Rose Hnatchuk and her sister, Vivian Werner. Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 10:30 A.M.
