Obituary of Anna Maria Thomas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Maria Thomas of Calgary on September 11, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Anna was born and raised in Sardinia, Italy. As a young woman, she moved to England to train as a nurse. While vacationing in Rome she met Bill, two years later they married at St. Peters Cathedral in Rome. Their adventures led them to Calgary where she pursued her nursing and began her life as a devoted wife and loving mother. Anna’s final journey led her to Cedars Villa Nursing Home, where she made many friends. She received compassionate and exceptional care for which our heartfelt thanks go out to all the staff. Those who knew her will remember her wonderful sense of humour, her joy of singing and her contagious laugh. Anna will be fondly remembered by her three daughters and six grandchildren; Jennifer (Nicole, Vanessa), Debbie (Steven, Stephanie) and Lisa (Kimberley, Sarah).
