Obituary of Jay Thomas Wells
Jay Thomas Wells passed away peacefully at the Agape hospice in Calgary after a brief battle with lymphoma, on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the age of 37 years.
Jay travelled to Greece, Italy, Mexico, and across Canada, with Tofino on Vancouver island being one of his favourite places. Jay will be missed by numerous friends and his best friend Jett (golden retriever), who were such an important part of his life.
Jay will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his parents Aldon and Heather Wells of Chestermere; sister Billie-Jo (Jason) Arnott of Airdrie; niece Casey; nephew Brayden; grandmother Joyce (Don) Harper; aunts and uncles, Hartford (Judy) Wells of Claresholm, Susan (Phil) Marsh of Lethbridge, Virginia (Lorne) Trotter of Lethbridge, Barb (Daryl) Greene of Claresholm; and numerous cousins. Jay was predeceased by his grandparents, Hugh Wells, Thomas Kirton and Johan Schlaht; his aunt and uncle Jenny and Cliff Allison; his uncle Lynden Wells; his cousin Jeb Trotter; and his partner Rich Wilkins.
A Celebration of Jay’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
