Obituary of Van Wiebe

Mabel Irene Van Wiebe of Calgary passed away on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Mae was born on March 28, 1925 in Stockholm, SK and enjoyed a successful, long career with the Royal Bank. She was a pioneer for many women, in many positions at the bank. Mabel enjoyed church activities, spending time with friends and family, was an avid Flames fan, and an active member in the I.O.D.E. Mae is survived by her son, Peter (Brenda) Van Wiebe; daughter, Rivkah Morgan; brother Bob (Debbie) Landine; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold (Van) and brother Don Landine in 2004. Memorial Services will be held at Christ Moravian Church (600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
