Obituary of Dorothy Beatrice Long

Dorothy Long of Calgary, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Dorothy was a long time member of the Women’s Canadian Club, I.O.D.E and Beta Sigma Phi. She is survived by her loving sister Mildred Patrick; nephew Ronald Taylor (Pamela); nieces, Judith Hayman (Allan), Karen Taylor-Browne (Patrick Browne), Sandra Munn and Elizabeth Holmes. She will be fondly remembered by her great nieces and nephews and her many friends and former colleagues at the UofC. She was predeceased by parents Ernest and Louisa Holmes; husband Albert Long; brother Edward Holmes; sister Marjorie Taylor and nephew Byron Holmes.
