Obituary of Karen Zolmer

Karen Zolmer of Airdrie, AB passed away following a brief but brave struggle against cancer, on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the age of 55 years. Karen was born and raised in Red Deer, AB. She resided in Beiseker for many years before moving to Airdrie four years ago. Karen was a devoted hockey mom and enjoyed curling and golfing in her spare time. Karen will be sadly missed by her beloved sons, Ryan (Melissa) of Strathmore, and Steven of Airdrie. Also left to mourn are her siblings Jane Boston, Doug (Eileen) Boston and Kathleen (Jerry) Williscroft; former husband Terry (Mary) Zolmer; special sister-in-law Mae (Doug) McFarland; brothers-in-law Rick (Jackie) Zolmer and Dennis (Norma Lynn) Zolmer. Karen is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and their children, as well as many friends.
