Obituary of Jacqueline Jackie Ann Henry

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother Jackie Henry (née Lebbert) of Calgary on Saturday, August 30, 2008. Jackie had been ill with esophogeal cancer for a year. She is survived by her children, Ken Connelly, Karen Connelly, Mara Peterson, David Connelly; by her grandchildren, Jennifer Kochis and Timo Chang; great grandchildren, Lucas and Jasmin. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Tracy Kochis. Jackie was a wonderful mother and grandmother, a great friend, and an inspiring source of humour and kindness to her co-workers at the City of Calgary and the Calgary Police Service. She will be remembered with the deep love and free-spirited laughter that is her most important legacy to her children and grandchildren. She taught us how to live with joy and how to die with grace, and we are grateful. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, September 5th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Her friends and relatives are welcome.
