Obituary of Hazel Eloise Walker
Hazel (Loy) Eloise Walker passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the age of 90 years.
Loy was born in Vulcan, AB. She moved to Calgary at very early age and lived here all of her life. She retired from Alberta Hail and Crop Insurance Board in the early 1980’s. Loy loved life and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.
Loy leaves behind her daughter Debbie; three granddaughters, Stephanie and Kristy Gordon, and Cindy Holdershaw; one grandson Bill Holdershaw; and three great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved sister Ellen Moyer of Phoenix, Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews. Loy was predeceased by her son Norman R. Holdershaw in 1992 and her husband Jim in 1995.
Loy will be lovingly missed by all.
A Celebration of Loy’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
