Obituary of Norman Robert Dodd
Norman Robert Dodd of Madden, Alberta passed away on August 22, 2008 at the age of 63 years.
Norman was born on January 22, 1945 in Red Deer, AB. Throughout his life Norman embraced many enthusiasms from Baseball as a youth to Bridge in later years. No matter the activity, Norman was a passionate participant. Norman lived his life in Madden where he ran Dodd’s General Store with his parents. In later years he ran Norm’s Place, a hardware store in Crossfield, AB. Norman had many good friends, and was a good friend.
Norman is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Ken Schultz; nephew Robert Schultz (Kimberly); niece Catherine Schultz; Aunt Jessie Hamilton; cousins Ian (Sharon) and Neil Sword, Joan and Larry Cairns, Margaret Hamilton, D.J. and Pam Cairns, Crystle and Mandi, Bobbi and Sam McBride, and Skyler and Brodie McBride.
A Celebration of Norman’s Life will be held at Madden Community Hall, Madden, AB on Thursday, August 28, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
