Obituary of William Lawrence Ward

June 30, 1937 - August 13, 2008

William Lawrence (Larry) Ward, beloved husband of Shari Ward of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the age of 71 years, after a long, courageous battle with COPD.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Shari; his children - son Bill (Janel) of Carstairs, AB, daughters, Cathy, Laurie Bryant, son David, all of Regina, SK and daughter Tami (Matt) Crane of Calmar, AB. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Larry is also remembered by his three "older" sisters, Shirley (Blair) Brehaut of Bracebridge, ON, Bonnie Smith of Edmonton, AB and Claire McKay (Grant Macdonald) of Regina, SK. He will also be fondly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends. He was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Marjorie (Marnie) Ward of Regina, SK; and son-in-law Robert (Bob) Bryant.

A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com .
