Obituary of Elizabeth Stileman

Elizabeth Stileman of Calgary died on July 23, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Liz touched so many lives in such a positive way. Her many interests brought her into contact with a diverse range of people who became her friends. Spiritually gifted, she enriched and enhanced the lives of others and was steadfast in her faith and loyalty to the Anglican Church. A caring career, beginning as an English nanny and ending as Director of Volunteers at the Holy Cross Hospital, was central to her life. Her passion for singing lifted many hearts and cemented lifelong friendships. Liz will be greatly missed by countless people with whom she came into contact. Liz is survived by her brother David and sister Armine in England, their families, and many circles of friends in Calgary where she spent the greater part of her life.
