Obituary of Weasel Child

Travis Lee Weasel Child (aka Pete) was called home to the Creator on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the age of 34 years, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Pete was a very special person who always had a big smile and a joke or a story for everyone he met. He was well loved by all his nieces and nephews and they all had a special place in his heart, he always tried to teach them right from wrong. Pete made up nicknames for most of the family and his friends, was skilled at making up his own lyrics to songs, and could Magyver anything when he was working at Castle Mountain or with the Chamomile crew. Pete was a natural cowboy, who rode bulls and attended the Johanson Brothers Bull Riding School and also participated in Wild Horse Race; he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help at branding time and enjoyed working with grandpa Donald and Walter Poor Eagle.
