Obituary of Justina Ramos Carrera

Justina Ramos Carrera passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Justina was born on October 7, 1922 in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1982. Our Nanay enjoyed traveling to Philippines during the winter and coming back to Canada for the summer to share time with her family. Justina is remembered by her nine children, Lydia Salomon of Mississauga, ON, Norma and Enrique Cacho of the Philippines, Alfredo and Josie Carrera of Mississauga, ON, Bernardo and Rosario Carrera of Califorina, USA, Carlos and Marilyn Carrera of Calgary, AB, Teresita and Napoleon Fernandez of the Philippines, Mario and Bernadette Carrera of Calgary, AB, Ted and Evelyn Carrera of Calgary, AB, and Cynthia and Romeo Tabios of Calgary, AB; twenty-eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and by her brother Cipriano and Carnay Ramos of California, USA. She was predeceased by her husband Marcelino on November 21, 2001, a granddaughter and by her three brothers. (Novena at 6:00 p.m.) Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette?s Catholic Church (7103 – 20A Street S.E.) on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
