Obituary of Arthur Edward Wanlin

Arthur (Art) Edward Wanlin was born in Mankota SK, and passed away in the presence of his wife and daughters on Friday, July 11, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Art is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of Airdrie; and his daughters Judy (Dan) Mammel, of Kelowna, BC, Susan (Gerry) Oakson, of Calgary, AB, Cathie Chibry, of Airdrie, AB and Tracy (Karim) Sorathia, of Calgary; grandchildren Erin, Sarah and Derek (Dana Wood) Mammel, Stephen (Kourtny) Lubig (Oakson), Drew, Carter, Dylan and Molly Chibry, Curtis MacDonell, Ethan and Shayna Sorathia. He is also survive by his stepdaughters Debbie (Terry) Will, Hope Cochran, Carrie Cochran and Faith (John Bossy) Cochran; and grandchildren; his brother, Johnny (Velma) and a sister-in-law Theresa Wanlin; as well as several nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his parents, Constantin and Eleonore; his wife Shirley; brothers, Louis, Hank and Joseph; sisters Gertrude Pinel and Marge Gagnon (Masse); and his son-in-law Ken Chibry.
