It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie (Stephie) Twins of Siksika Nation on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the age of 43 years. Stephanie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Winston Twins; children, Shawnee and Frankie; adopted children, Cheyenne, Lorenzo and Antonio; sisters, Denise (Craig), Yolanda (Dion), Lori (Sean) and Natasha; brother, Clifton (Jackie); adopted siblings, Gary (Delphine), Richard (Patsy), Mitch (Delores) Right Hand, Gina (Lance) Flamond; sister-in-laws, Donna (Jordan); brother-in-laws, Lionel (Michelle) and Curtis Twins; In-laws, Flossie (Don), Theresa Bull, Laura Saddleback, Rene (Rachel), Raymond Littlechild; Uncles, Mario (Karen), Larry Waterchief, Michael (Connie) Rabbit Carrier, Stanford (Karen) Three Suns; Aunts, Joanne (Thomas) Yellow Horn; Ann Marie (Leonard) Good Eagle; special friends, Heather, Georgia, Verona, George (Papa) Whiteman, Herman and Loreli Yellow Old Woman, Grant (Heather) Whitstone, Frank & Dora Masson, Walter & Rema Pataykan. As well as extended relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Marie Waterchief and her daughter, Tayana. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Winston Twins (Siksika Nation, AB) on Monday, July 14, 2008 and Tuesday, July 15, 2008. A Traditional Funeral Ceremony will follow at the residence of Winston Twins on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
