Obituary of John Allan Proctor

Jack Proctor, beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Roche) of Calgary, formerly from Leader, SK, passed away at the Newport Harbour Care Centre on July 5, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Jack was born on July 21, 1931 in Winnipeg, MB. He was married March 29, 1951 in Flin Flon, MB to the love of his life, Elizabeth. He was dedicated to his wife and family. His smile and jokes will be remembered always. Besides his loving wife Elizabeth, Jack is also survived by nine children; Pat (Jim Offin), Penny (Stuart Seeley), Cathy (Gord Baglier), Josie (George Yearly), Jacky (Denis Heidenreich), Dominic (Laura), James (Leanne), Stephanie, and Greg (Staci). Jack is also survived by his brother Ken and sister Isabelle, as well as 16 much loved grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Joy and brother George. A millwright by training, an engineer by birth, and a mentor by nature, Jack was the plant superintendant at Dome/Amoco Empress plant for 25 years.
