Obituary of Samantha Marie McMillan-Ashby

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our precious child Samantha Marie McMillan-Ashby. Samantha was born in Calgary and attended school at Calgary Quest Children’s Society. She will always be remembered as the princess who had a ready smile, an infectious giggle and a love of life no matter what came her way. We take great peace in knowing she is in a place where she can now walk and talk, run and play freely as she never could here. She may be gone but will never be forgotten. Her memory will always be alive to her parents Penny and Ian Ashby of Calgary; her grandparents Hazel and Terry McMillan, her aunts and uncles Colleen and Bruce Turner and Brent and Michelle McMillan, her cousins, Lexxie, Olivia, Josh and Camryn all of Carberry, MB; Sam’s friend and companion Geraldine Layco and everyone else who loved her and whose lives she touched.
