Obituary of Antal Koo

Antal Koo of Calgary passed away peacefully on June 21, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Antal was born on May 28, 2008 in Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1956. He lived in Ontario, Quebec, and Manitoba before settling in Calgary in 1993. In 1999 and in 2004 Antal happily made it back to his home country, Hungary. He was a hardworking millwright mechanic and also an experienced shoe cobbler. Antal’s passion was listening and recording various types of music thanks to his eclectic taste in music. Antal is survived by his daughters, Susan of Calgary and Klara of Hungary; sons, George of Burlington and Antal (Anti) of Hungary; granddaughter, Eszter and great granddaughter, Julia Claire of Memphis; sisters, Margit and Terez of Hungary; first wife, Terezia and second wife, Eleanor. Antal is predeceased by his parents, Antal and Terez; his brothers, Joseph, Imre and Istvan of Hungary. "We will miss you Dad. You will be forever remembered in our hearts."
