Albert was also a loving husband and a best friend to his wife. He grew up with five brothers and four sisters. His siblings looked up to him as a leader and guardian within the family. Albert was a kind, gentle, compassionate and understanding person and was respectful and nonjudgmental towards others. He made an effort to see all sides of situations that came into his life with a positive attitude. He believed in both Christianity and our traditional ways. He enjoyed learning about different people and their cultures and befriended people wherever he went, Albert was fortunate to have many opportunities in his life. He attended Morley Residential School, and worked in numerous jobs, most recently as the manager of the Wesley Wellness Program, and did his best to create wellness awareness for the nation. Also our dad was a cowboy; he actively participated in the rodeo circuit. Was an all-around cowboy but Team Roping captured his heart. He was known for his long bombing as a header, which took him travelling to rodeos throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and the USA. Albert was also part of the formation of the Wesley Roping Club. He later retired to raise his children, although his love of rodeo was always in his heart. Again Albert travelled throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and the USA for his daughters who participated in Powwows. Albert loved to listen to different types of music, reading, photography and watching movies. "Thank you Albert for being a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend. You will always be in our hearts, till we meet again."
