Obituary of James Brannen MacKeigan
James Brannen MacKeigan, beloved husband of Marguerite, of Airdrie passed away on June 15, 2008 at the age of 60 years. James was born on July 24, 1947 in Saint John, NB. He worked for Syncrude Canada in Fort McMurray for twenty-eight years as a buyer and later as a heavy equipment operator. James’ passion was to travel and enjoy the finer things in life. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. The highlight of James’ life was becoming a grandfather and he cherished his granddaughters. James loved to socialize with his friends and family and had a heart of gold and great sense of humour that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Besides his loving wife of forty-one years, Marguerite, James is survived by his son Jamie (Visi) and their children, Katarina and Tatiana, and his daughter Lisa (Brian) Bennett. He is also survived by his sister Fayanne Goodwin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
