Obituary of Constance Marie Paquette

Connie Paquette passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008 in the loving arms of her family at the age of 77 years. Connie was born Constance Marie Laphen in Halifax, N.S. on April 5, 1931. She married George Penwarn and together they had five children. After George passed away in 1965, Connie moved her family to Calgary, AB and began a new life. She married Pierre Paquette in 1980 and had eight wonderful years with him until he passed away in 1988. Connie was employed by the CBE as a library assistant where she made many lasting friendships. She will be remembered for her loving nature and unfailing strength of character. Connie is survived by her children, Chris (Bruce) Borstmayer, Joan (Michael) Bruch, Jeannette (Gerry) Prost, George (Robin) Penwarn and Dan (Julio) Penwarn; her grandchildren, Erin, Julie and Neal Borstmayer, Kevin and Alex Bruch, Brendan and Liam Prost and Stacy and Daniel Penwarn; and by her sisters Leona Richards and Carol Ann Forgeron of Halifax, NS. She was predeceased by her parents Silas and Lillian Laphen; brothers, Clarence and Frank Laphen; and by her sister Marg Elliott.
