Obituary of George Howard Farncombe

George Howard Farncombe, of Calgary AB., recently passed away on June 12, 2008 at the age of 61. George was born in Guelph and raised in Southern Ontario where he attended school in pursuit of a career in the field of engineering. George and his family moved to Medicine Hat, AB., in 1975 where he was employed as a machinist millwright in a management capacity. George and his family moved to Calgary in the year 2000 to further his engineering career and develop his vast hobbies. Most recently, he was employed at Old Castle Glass as a machinist millwright, whilst pursuing his passion for rebuilding and restoring vintage motorcycles and sports cars at his home-based machine shop. He also enjoyed time on his motorcycle and touring the beautiful Rocky Mountains. George is survived by his wife Sheila (of 39 years) and his two sons Todd and Troy. George was predeceased by his parents Ross and Luella and leaves to cherish his memories, brother Jack and sisters Linda and Jean.
