Obituary of Frederick Garfield Kerr

Frederick Kerr beloved husband of Fenella of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Fred worked as a grain buyer for United Grain Growers then joined the Armed Forces in 1954. He had many postings in Canada and spent three years in Germany. Fred returned to Canada in 1968 and retired in 1974. He then went on to work for the Alberta Liquor Commission which he retired from as a store manager in Strathmore in 1992. Fred enjoyed curling and golfing in his spare time. Fred is survived by his wife, Fenella, his daughters, Beverley (Rejean), Cheryl (Ken), and Marilyn as well as by his four grandchildren, Steven, Joslin, Scott, and Rachelle. He will also be missed by his great-granddaughter Theresa; and by his many nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his parents and two brothers. A private family service will be held.
