Obituary of Doreen Carol Ballak

Left this life and began her eternal life with the Lord Jesus Christ. Beloved wife of Louis passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Doreen was born in Calgary on February 2, 1941 in Calgary and she split her residence between Fairmont, British Columbia and Calgary. She graduated from Western Canada High School and was employed with the City of Calgary for thirty-seven years. Doreen loved gardening, golfing and her dogs. Doreen will be sadly missed by her husband, Louis of forty-four years, sisters-in-law, Wynne Deines, Dot Deines, Martha Trstensky, Elizabeth Park and Margaret Skeet (Leslie), nieces Susan (Andrew), Pat (Eric), Torey, Deborah (Stuart), Michelle (Clint), nephews Terry, Dennis (Lynda), Steve, Bruce (Mary), Robert (Yvonne), Jamie, Brad and Timothy (Lana). Doreen was predeceased by her parents, Herda and Bill Deines, brothers, Everett Deines and Don Deines. Doreen will be remembered by her many friends for her love of travel, kindness, generosity and consideration for others. She touched many people throughout her life and will be fondly remembered.
