Obituary of Nancy Jessie Aaskow

Nancy Jessie Aaskow of Madden AB, born December 25, 1918 in Scotland, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the age of 89 years at Didsbury Long Term Care Unit 4. Nancy will be missed by her daughters Louise (Lloyd) Anderson of Caslan, AB, Joan Carson of Madden, AB; her sons Donnie (Nancy) Aaskow and Brian (Cindy) Aaskow of Madden, AB; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; sister Kitty (Fred) Spreter; sister-in-law Ane Rach and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her husband Malthe; great-granddaughter Melissa Anderson; three brothers and one sister. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Airdrie Chapel (300 Towerlane Drive) on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 6:00 p.m – 8:30 p.m. Family Funeral Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (17 Ave S.E. at Garden Road Calgary, AB) on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow service at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
