Obituary of Murdeana Mae Sucha

Mrs. Murdeana Mae Sucha, loving mother and grandmother, passed away quietly, in the presence of her family at home on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Murdeana faced everything in life with determination, courage, and shoes that matched her outfit. She was born on January 3, 1929 in Teepee Creek, AB. Murdeana lived in Alberta all of her life except for a short period during the war. She attended Balmoral School and Crescent Heights High School in Calgary and the McKay Institute in Montréal. Murdeana loved gardening, handicrafts, and especially knitting. Murdeana is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Debbie and Bill and Carolyn, four grandchildren, Melanie (Olaf), Graham (Monique), David and Steven, and by her ever faithful companion, Roughie. She was predeceased by her husband John, in 1990 and a brother, Donald, in 1928. A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
