Obituary of Betty Jane Brisson

Betty Jane Brisson, beloved wife of Ray Brisson of Vulcan, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2008 at the age of 72 years, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Betty enjoyed years of involvement in Calgary Little League Baseball and was also very active in her communities, both in Calgary and Vulcan. She was known for her unselfishness and her love of family, friends and animals. Upon retirement from the Calgary Health Region and moving to Vulcan, both Betty and Ray pursued their love of golf and each other. Besides her loving husband of forty years Ray, Betty is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Linda and Richard Benson; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Brisson, Jeff and Shonna Brisson; and four granddaughters, Amanda and Sarah Benson, Logan and Brooke Brisson. She is also survived by her brother Bob and Sheila Smith and their children Laura and Greg; and three sisters, Sue Delap and her daughters Leanne and Keri, Carolyn Smith and Sherry Smith.
