Obituary of D. Phyllis Drabble
Phyllis Drabble of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the age of 97 years.
Phyllis was born in Dublin, Ireland and immigrated to Calgary in 1919 where she has resided ever since. She was an active member of her community and long time member of St. Michael and all Angels and Holy Cross Anglican Churches. Phyllis belonged to the Squirrely Snowshoe Club, camera, Skyline and other hiking clubs. She especially loved to go camping with her family and friends.
Phyllis is survived by one son Raymond (Ann) Drabble of Calgary and two daughters, Maureen (Art) Weeks of Charlottetown, PEI and Alannah Drabble of Calgary; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley; six brothers and five sisters.
