Obituary of Lottie Jane Davies

Lottie Jane Davies slipped into eternal tranquility May 15, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Born in Haynes, AB, her family soon moved to Seba Beach, AB & then on to Mirror, AB. She worked as a comptometer operator in Calgary, during World War II, while awaiting the love of her life to return from overseas. She married Airman Aubrey Davies, & they started a journey that lasted 63 years. Lottie’s home was her domain; her family was her passion. A caring, devoted woman, she found her calling as a wife, mother, grandmother, & friend to all those whom she touched. Lottie will be missed, but leaves a legacy of fond memories & everlasting love. Lottie is survived by her husband Aubrey Davies; her children, daughter Gail Davies-Howard, son Wayne & daughter-in-law Christine Davies; & her grandchildren, Travis & Jill Davies. Along with her immediate family, she is honoured by her brother Clayton Baker, his family, & the Bradshaw family. She was predeceased by her brother Russell Bradshaw & sister Ruth Defalco. Lottie will be remembered in our hearts with a Celebration of Life held at McInnis & Holloway’s Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive SW) on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2:30 pm.
