Obituary of Arnold Chapman Holte-Smith

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Arnold Holte-Smith on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the age of 83 years. He struggled with leukemia and passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre. He leaves behind his loving wife Mary after sixty years of marriage; daughters Gillian (Darrel), the late Tina; seven grandchildren, Richard, Brent (Rhona), Jason, Paul, Shannon, Troy (Melissa), Sara (Roy); and ten great-grandchildren Mary, Brianna, Jessica, Emma, McKenzie, Hugh, Andrew, Morgan, Madison and Austin. He will be remembered as a very loving man. He was born in England and did service in India as Captain in the Royal Marines during WWII years. He led a very fulfilling life, working for ICI in England and came to Calgary, Canada in 1975. He was then semi-retired and worked for Merryl Lynch Securities in Calgary. He will be sorely missed by our whole family.
