Obituary of Alan Stuart Dick

Alan Stuart Dick of Okotoks, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Alan was born on October 6, 1929 in DeWinton, AB. He lived most of his life in the DeWinton and Calgary area until retiring to Okotoks. Besides his loving and caring friend Phyllis Dick, Alan is also survived by his three sons, Geary Dick, Mitchell Dick and Jody Dick; his daughter Tracey Dick; his grandchildren, Chad Thompson, Haley Matheson, and Chris and Owen Nakumara. He is also survived by his brother Ivan Dick, his sister Lois Knupp, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Alan was predeceased by his first wife Vivian who was the mother of their four children. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Pine Creek Cemetery.
