Obituary of Grace Crawford
With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of their mother Grace on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the age of 91 years.
Grace was born in Delburne, AB to Dennis and Irene Blair. She had a very full and busy life. Grace enjoyed many good times at Confederation Park Seniors. Her real passion was quilting and her many beautiful quilts are admired by all. Grace was an enthusiastic member of Heritage Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) and also a life member of the Royal Purple, (Elk’s Club).
Grace leaves to cherish her memory, two loving daughters, Betty (Ron) Frederick and Donna (Bruce) Sterling; four grandchildren, Carolyn, Colette, Jolaine and Jeff and four great-grandchildren, Carly, Paige, Janelle and Colin. She also leaves behind one sister, Lorraine and a brother Ken as well as many loving nieces and nephews and dear friends. Grace was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1988.
Following Graces’ wishes, no funeral service will be held.
