Obituary of Betty Holliday

Betty Holliday of Calgary went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Born in Calgary on July 25, 1924, she is the beloved Wife of sixty-three years to Jim; adored Mom to Joyce and treasured Gram to Mike. Betty was a founding member, and remained active in Chalmers Presbyterian Church and Choir. She enjoyed working for Cardwell Supply Company and upon retirement traveled extensively with the love of her life in their motor home. Throughout her life, Betty was a dedicated friend and prayer warrior to many. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alberta Arthritis Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
