Obituary of Red Gun
Harry Vincent Red Gun of Siksika, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the age of 20 years.
The son of Jordan and Wanda Red Gun, he will be sadly missed by his parents, brothers, sister: Tracey Many Heads, Scotty Owl Child, Vernon Owl Child, Megan Pearce, Sally Owl Child, Curtis Solloway; and his godparents, Joseph and Joyce Many Bears; also his aunties and uncles, Rufus (Carmen) Red Gun, Dion (Cherlyn) Red Gun, Julie (Gerald), Nena (Mike), Clayton (Donna) Red Gun, Sid Owl Child (Penny), Marion (John) Frazer, Delores (Greg), Horton Olds; and his loving dog “Rocky”; also his long-time girlfriend Megan Old Woman.
Harry was a fun-loving boy with a lot of respect. He will be sadly missed by his special nephews, Samuel and Neveah; and cousin Charles. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Harry and Rose Red Gun; and one great-aunt Mary Lily Cutter, and his extended families, Red Guns, Many Guns, Scalp Locks, Rabbit Carriers, Bull Bears, Foxs, White Elks, Big Tobbacos, Everetts, Cutters, Stimsons, Yellow Old Womans, May Fields, Owl Childs, Own Chiefs, Cyennes, and we apologize to the people we have missed, as we have too many relatives to mention.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Harry and Rose Red Gun on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Little Chicago Cemetery.
