Obituary of Jack Gamble

It is with saddened heart that I announce the passing of my father and my friend. After a courageous battle with cancer Dad went to sleep surrounded by the love of family and friends on the morning of Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Southwood Hospice. Jack leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter Vicki Lynn (Stephen); his beautiful companion of twenty-six years, Penny Ogenski; life long friend Bert Vaness and all of the wonderful friends and acquaintances he made over the years doing various jobs in the village of Inglewood; a neighborhood he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his parents and his only son, Jason Dwayne in 1995. A gentle soul, Jack touched many lives and will be greatly missed. “Good-nite Blue Eyes.” Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. A special thank you to the staff at Foothills Hospital for their support, friendship and excellent care.
