Obituary of Myrtle Louth

Myrtle Louth of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Myrtle was born in the farmhouse in Stanmore, AB. As a young lady she moved to Hanna, AB and became a hairdresser. Myrtle met and married Orval Louth on August 23, 1940. They moved to Calgary and started their family with the birth of their only child, Maxine. Myrtle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Dennis Loroff of Calgary; three granddaughters, Sherry (Don), Shawna (Shane) of Airdrie and Kara (Warren) of Beachburg, ON; five great-grandchildren, Taryn, Chase, Brayden, Cole and Rhiannon. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Bill (Pat) Louth and Art Lambeth; sister-in-law Dorothy Turnbull as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband Orval; brother Leonard; sister Illene and parents, George and Olive Zinger. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1525 – 45th Street S.E.) on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
