Obituary of Elsie Anderson

Elsie was born in Kingston Ontario on the 24th of November 1927 and passed away peacefully at the Airdrie’s Bethany Care Centre on Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Elsie grew up in Kingston and married Ken in 1951, living in Ontario and moving to Taber Alberta in 1973. Elsie was proud of her public service career working first for veteran’s affairs and later for the Alberta Government. As long as she was able, Elsie spent Sundays at the Anglican Church. Elsie is survived by her two daughters Brenda McHugh and Margaret (Keith) Tennant and their children Lindsay and Sydney McHugh and Hannah and Alex Tennant; by her siblings, Ken (Shirley) Hughes and Stella (Bill) Helsby. Elsie will also be greatly missed by her friend and sister in law Joyce Garrison. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Airdrie Funeral Home (300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, Alberta) on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
