Obituary of Ingeborg Josefine Schwarz
Inge Schwarz, beloved wife of Joachim of Calgary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the age of 82 years.
A journey spanning two continents has come to pass. Our beloved wife, Mother and Oma was born in Graz, Austria. She met her husband, Joachim, after the war. They moved to Germany and then immigrated to Canada, settling in Toronto. She then followed her only son and his family to Calgary. Married in 1948, Inge and Joachim recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
Besides her loving husband Joachim, Inge is survived by her son Mike, daughter-in-law Wendy, and cherished grandsons, Adam and Tyler. Left to mourn are her brothers-in-law, Norbert Schwarz (Edith – predeceased), their children Karen, Regine and Martin, all of Germany, and Christian (Kate) Schwarz of Tillsonburg, ON, and their children, Carsten and Marlissa. Inge also leaves behind her nephews, Alex Magditsch (Lynda McCarthy), and their daughter Juliana, Eric (Sue) Magditsch, and their children Daniele and Wesley. Inge was predeceased by her brother Erich Magditsch and beloved sister-in-law Inge. Together they enjoyed many hours of Rummy. Inge will be missed by many friends across Canada and Europe. Our loving wife, Oma and Mutti blessed us all with her life and we will never forget her.
